With the advances in technology and digital distribution that have been made in recent years, now more than ever it has become easier for indie game developers to create and release their work to a global audience. However, they are now faced with the problem of effectively promoting their games to this new found audience. While researching the issue I was inspired to form a collective of artists and designers that would work together to put on public facing arcade and art gallery events where people unfamiliar with the independent game community can come, and experience first hand what the community has to offer.
