LIFE IS HARD, GET TOUGH

Objective
Choose a company that is dead, dying, or defunct, and rebrand them to be relevant to a modern audience. Based of characteristics of the brand develop a new logo and visual system. Design a series of products, services, or events within the theme of the new identity system.

Approach
For my company I chose Tonka. Known for their almost indestructible toy trucks, I decided to rebrand them for a more mature audience, focusing less on creating tough toys, and more on products and services to help develop and assist tough adults. Taking heavy influence from blacksmithing I designed a visual system that conveyed strength and confidence.
